Dubai:The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced a two-hour reduction in daily working hours for private sector employees during the holy month of Ramadan.

This adjustment is in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on labor relations and its amendments. Employers in the private sector also have the flexibility to implement remote work or flexible working arrangements, depending on the nature of their business and within the regulated work hours for Ramadan.

The decision aims to support employee well-being during this sacred month.
