Emirates Insight publishes business and economic reporting focused on the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf region. This page explains how we produce that reporting, how we use technology in the newsroom, and how we correct errors when we get things wrong.
Our editorial standards
Every article we publish is expected to be accurate, sourced, and useful to a business reader in the Gulf. We prioritise clarity over jargon, attribute claims to their originators, and link to primary documents (regulator filings, company statements, official data) wherever possible. We do not publish paid or sponsored content without a clear label.
How we use artificial intelligence
Emirates Insight uses AI tools to help draft, summarise, translate, and format certain news reports, particularly rapid-turnaround coverage of market moves, regulatory filings, and press releases. AI is a research and drafting aid, not a replacement for editors.
All AI-assisted articles are reviewed by a member of the editorial desk before publication. Reviewers verify facts against the original sources, check for accuracy of names, numbers and quotes, and rewrite for clarity, tone, and compliance with our editorial standards. We do not publish AI-generated opinion, analysis, or investigative reporting.
Articles written or reviewed by the editorial desk carry the byline EI Editorial Desk. Guest contributions, sponsored pieces, and staff-bylined analysis appear under the contributor's own name.
Sources and attribution
We aim to link to the primary source of every material claim. Where a story is based on wire copy or another publication's original reporting, we credit that outlet by name. We do not republish full articles from other outlets without permission.
Corrections and complaints
If you believe an article on Emirates Insight contains a factual error, please email [email protected] with the article URL and the specific claim you believe is inaccurate. Verified errors are corrected as soon as practical and a correction note is added to the affected article.

Emirates Insight is an independent publisher. We run display advertising and offer branded content, which is always labelled as such. Advertising relationships do not influence editorial decisions.
