Bitcoin to AI: Day 2 of Crypto Expo Dubai Explores the Future of Finance and Decentralization

Crypto Expo Dubai 20205

Dubai: 22 May 2025.

Day two of Crypto Expo Dubai 2025 launched with high-level discussions and strategic insights into the evolving worlds of blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital assets. Industry leaders, innovators, and regulators gathered to explore the intersection of decentralization, sustainable tech, and global financial transformation.

Yana Alali, from Crypto Expo Dubai

Morning Sessions: Web3 Leadership and Bitcoin as Digital Reserve

The morning sessions in the Blockchain & Crypto Hall set the tone with a keynote by Marcel Kasumovich from Coinbase Asset Management, who highlighted Bitcoin’s potential as a long-term reserve asset. A high-profile panel followed, featuring Naeem Aslam (Zaye Capital Markets), Amit Arora (RAK Digital Assets Oasis), Dr. Aisha Bin Lootah (VARA), and Stephanie Emile (Binance Dubai), who discussed the UAE’s pioneering role in shaping the Web3 economy.

Afternoon Sessions: AI, Infrastructure & Safe-Haven Asset Debate

In the afternoon, the spotlight shifted to the HashMining & AI Hall, where Youssef Kenan of Zencare Technology opened with a keynote titled “Sustainable AI Begins with Infrastructure”. This was followed by a key panel titled “Bitcoin vs Gold: Evaluating Safe-Haven Assets Amid Market Turbulence”, featuring prominent voices including Jameel Ahmad (GTCFX), Richard Nasr (Tickmill), Andy Lian (industry expert), and Rizwan Shaikh

Throughout the day, attendees explored a diverse agenda of keynotes and panels covering a range of topics—from regulatory technology innovations and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization to the convergence of AI and Web3.

The Expo continues to reaffirm Dubai’s leadership in financial innovation and digital transformation, reinforcing its position as a global hub for blockchain and fintech ecosystems.

Emirates Insight actively participated in the event as an official media partner with HQMENA, the event organizers. Our team, including Mr. Khalid Hussain Mir and Ms. Yana Alali, attended both days of the expo, contributing to real-time coverage and engagement.
