Seamless Middle East 2026 Closes 26th Edition At Dubai World Trade Centre

Seamless Middle East 2026 closed its 26th edition at Dubai World Trade Centre after three days of fintech, payments, retail and delivery programming, with the show returning in May 2027.

Dubai, 24 September 2026: Seamless Middle East 2026 has officially closed at Dubai World Trade Centre, wrapping the 26th edition of the region's flagship gathering for fintech, payments, digital commerce and retail delivery. The three day show ran from 22 to 24 September across Halls 1 to 8, pulling together the operators, brands and technology companies driving how money moves and how goods reach buyers across the region.

This year the show ran under an expanded banner. Seamless Middle East, Seamless Fintech, Home Delivery World Middle East and Shop Arabia sat under one roof, giving retailers, banks, payment providers, logistics teams and D2C brands a single floor to work from. It follows a busy month of trade activity in the city, including Forex Expo Dubai 2026 breaking a Guinness World Records title the weekend before.

Team Emirates Insight participated in and covered the event as Media Partner.

What powered the floor

Organiser Terrapinn brought together 750 plus exhibitors, more than 800 speakers and an audience projected above 25,000 across the three days. Booths ran the full fintech, payments and commerce stack, from card acquirers and issuers to point of sale hardware, checkout software, buy now pay later, open banking rails, wallets and cross border payout networks.

The delivery and retail halls carried a connected story, with warehousing, last mile logistics, dark stores, quick commerce operators and shelf ready packaging vendors meeting the retailers trying to shave minutes off delivery windows.

Who took the stage

The speaker lineup pulled in senior operators from across the region. Harshdeep Jolly, Executive Director of Technology and AI Strategy at Al-Futtaim, delivered a day one keynote on agentic AI in retail. Sabrina Wurfel of Samsung Electronics MENA joined the commerce track, and Philippe Daoust, VP Innovation and Head of Ventures at Commercial Bank of Dubai, spoke on the fintech side.

The Payments Podium hosted a fireside chat on the National e-KYC Platform with Haseeb Ansari (Emirates Islamic), Basant Khalil (HSBC Bank Middle East) and Waheed Rathore (Dubai Islamic Bank). Verifone came in as Gold Sponsor.

Among the UAE exhibitors, Crown Digital, a Dubai based high ROI digital ads agency, worked stand SE11 in the Digital Commerce hall through all three days, meeting founders, marketers and operators walking the floor.

"Exhibiting feels very different from attending. Instead of moving from one conversation to another, people came to our stand and told us what they are building, where they are trying to grow, and more interestingly where they feel stuck," the Crown Digital team said. "Behind the talk of AI, automation and customer acquisition, real businesses were asking very practical questions: are we spending in the right places, why are we getting leads but not enough customers, and should we scale acquisition, or is something else in the journey holding us back."

Reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new contacts across different industries, the agency said, was the standout part of the week.

Why the edition mattered

Dubai has been ranked the world's leading FinTech hub in the latest Global Financial Centres Index, and Seamless is where that ranking meets its operators face to face. Merchants used the floor as a shortcut through months of vendor calls, and the delivery halls meant retailers came for payment gateways and left with logistics quotes too.

When Seamless returns

Terrapinn confirmed at close that Seamless Middle East will return for its 27th edition in May 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
