Lapita, Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, part of Autograph Collection Hotels invites families and loved ones to escape the ordinary and indulge in an extraordinary island-inspired Iftar experience at Kalea, the resort’s signature all-day dining restaurant. Rooted in the spirit of togetherness, Iftar at Kalea centres around generous sharing-style dining, where comforting flavours, the soothing strum of live Oud music, and relaxed island-inspired surroundings set the tone for meaningful moments with family and friends.

Nestled within the region’s only Polynesian-themed family resort, Kalea brings a calm and characterful escape from the city during the Holy Month. Framed by lush tropical landscaping and newly refreshed, vibrant island-inspired interiors that capture the colours and rhythms of Polynesian life, the restaurant infuses the Ramadan experience with a warm tropical spirit, inviting guests to slow down, reconnect, and savour the season, accompanied by live Oud music throughout the evening.

At the heart of the experience is Kalea’s abundant Iftar buffet, thoughtfully curated to celebrate the rituals of Ramadan through flavour and variety. Guests are invited to indulge in comforting Arabic favourites, from fragrant Chicken Machboos and delicately spiced Samak Taratore to slow-cooked Beef Salona, alongside a diverse selection of Asian, Indian and international dishes. Carefully prepared vegetarian options including vegetables and Paneer Khada, stir-fried Singaporean noodles, and a curated selection of fresh salads, ensure the buffet caters to every palate. Interactive live cooking stations bring an added sense of theatre and energy to the experience, inviting guests to engage with chefs, customise their plates, and enjoy dishes prepared fresh to order. The evening concludes on a sweet note with a dessert spread designed for sharing, featuring warm date pudding, traditional Konafa Nabelsia and a tempting selection of international sweet treats, offering a satisfying finale to the Iftar experience.

Complementing the feast, Kalea is designed as a tropical paradise with families in mind, offering a memorable Iftar experience for all ages. While parents savour the generous sharing-style spread, younger guests can enjoy dedicated children’s activities, including creative hand and face painting, interactive brain teasers, and both indoor and outdoor obstacle courses designed to spark excitement and imagination. These playful moments allow children to stay engaged, allowing families to relax, connect, and immerse themselves in the spirit of Ramadan together.

In addition to family dining at Kalea, the resort offers tailored Iftar experiences for corporate groups and larger gatherings, with packages starting at AED 220. A selection of elegant indoor and outdoor venues is available across the resort, including the Tamure Ballroom for larger-scale events, as well as Kalea Terrace, Kalea Garden and Ari Garden for more intimate group celebrations. Minimum guest requirements apply by venue, with Ari Garden accommodating a minimum of 200 guests, the Tamure Ballroom 150 guests, Kalea Garden 100 guests, and Kalea Terrace 110 guests. Bespoke Iftar packages can be arranged to suit corporate hosting and private occasions.

Iftar at Kalea will be available daily throughout Ramadan from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm, priced at AED 225 per person, inclusive of the full Iftar buffet and live oud music. Children aged 4 to 11 priced at only AED 112, while children below 4 dine complimentary. Group and corporate packages are available, with an early-bird offer applicable for bookings of 20 guests and above made before 1 February.
