Qatar Airways has expanded flight capacity to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai and Singapore for the winter 2025–2026 season as the airline responds to rising global travel demand.
The increases form part of a broader winter schedule that adds additional frequencies to more than 15 major destinations, including Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket and Toronto.
The Qatar carrier continues to strengthen connectivity through its Doha hub at Hamad International Airport. Growing global demand for its travel experience has enabled the carrier to offer nearly 3,000 additional flights this year.

Additional flights include:
- Kuala Lumpur: From December 17, 2025, services to Kuala Lumpur will increase from 14 to 17 flights per week. Qatar Airways said the additional frequencies will support seamless connections between Southeast Asia and key destinations such as Jeddah, London and Paris via Doha
- Lagos: Between December 15, 2025 and March 28, 2026, Lagos frequencies will rise from 10 to 14 weekly flights. The expanded schedule enhances links between Nigeria and Qatar Airways’ network of more than 170 destinations, improving connectivity for business and leisure travellers heading to Delhi, Guangzhou and London
- Shanghai: Services to Shanghai will increase from 7 to 10 weekly flights from January 1 to March 28, 2026 to support rising inbound and outbound travel demand. The added capacity will strengthen connections between China and destinations including Algiers, São Paulo and Warsaw
- Singapore: From January 12, 2026, Qatar Airways will deploy the Airbus A380 on select flights to Singapore, adding capacity and elevating the premium cabin experience
The airline’s enhanced winter operations are supported by a diverse widebody fleet, including Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft equipped with ultra-high-speed Starlink onboard Wi-Fi.
Qatar Airways is the first airline globally to fully equip and operate more than 100 widebody aircraft with Starlink, and the first carrier in the MENA region to offer the service.
Passengers in both Premium and Economy cabins benefit from free, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi, with speeds of up to 500mbps per aircraft.
