In a bold step that reinforces the UAE’s position at the forefront of global sports innovation, Precision Football, the country’s leading elite technical training academy, has expanded its groundbreaking AI-Driven Professional Diploma in Sports Management and Analysis, welcoming world-class experts and international partners to further elevate the region’s most future-focused sports education programme.
Launched under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with the UAE Sports Science and Sports Medicine Center, and accredited by EduQual (UK), the diploma is the first of its kind in the region, blending advanced data analytics, sports science, and AI technology with hands-on performance training and strategic management modules.
The latest expansion sees the introduction of a prestigious panel of global guest lecturers and mentors from organisations such as FIFA, UEFA, Team GB, and the Real Madrid Foundation. These figures bring real-world insights from the world’s most advanced sporting environments, giving students unprecedented access to global expertise through immersive workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and performance simulations.
Commenting on the initiative, H.E. Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary for the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports, said:
“We take great pride in seeing such innovative sports initiatives emerge from the UAE. This programme goes beyond skill development or the use of technology – it opens new horizons for our youth to lead the future of sports with knowledge, intelligence, and confidence. Integrating artificial intelligence and data analytics into the development of the sports ecosystem reflects our vision for a future where science and talent work hand in hand, making sport a true platform for creativity and global excellence.”
“Sport and technology are transforming side by side,” said Sonny Cobbs, Founder and CEO of Precision Football. “By working with international leaders in performance, analytics, and management, we’re ensuring that our students don’t just learn about the future of sport, they experience it. This collaboration positions the UAE as a global benchmark in sports innovation.”
As part of Precision Football’s extended partner network, students will explore the full scope of modern sports development, from AI-powered performance analysis and data visualisation, to sports marketing, leadership psychology, and athlete wellbeing. Core modules include project-based learning, digital performance tracking, and strategic planning, all delivered with practical applications and access to real-world case studies.
Participants will also work with industry-standard wearable technologies such as Playermaker, gathering live data to measure performance, prevent injury, and optimise decision-making, mirroring how elite clubs train, assess, and develop athletes.
With the UAE actively accelerating its national agenda around digital transformation, Emiratisation, and the knowledge economy, this initiative reflects a broader vision: to empower Emirati youth and regional talent with globally relevant, tech-forward career pathways in sport.
“This programme isn’t just innovative, it’s transformational,” said Ryan Hattingh, Group CEO of Agon Capital, which backs Precision Football. “We’re proud to support an initiative that combines academic rigour with practical relevance, and that positions the UAE as a launchpad for the next generation of global sports leaders.”
Through this expanded phase, the diploma creates direct access to internships, mentorships, and career-building opportunities within Precision Football and its network. Whether in analytics, coaching, commercial operations, or content strategy, students emerge from the programme with future-proof skills and industry exposure that transcends the classroom.
With limited enrollment and growing demand, the diploma is fast becoming the region’s most sought-after gateway to a career in the global sports industry, and a cornerstone of the UAE’s rising influence in performance innovation and athlete development.
