Dubai International Chamber has announced strong results for the first nine months of 2025, reflecting its expanding role in driving foreign direct investment and global business engagement.
Between Q1 and Q3 2025, the chamber attracted 261 companies to Dubai, marking a 65 per cent increase from the 158 companies recorded during the same period in 2024.
Of these, 44 were multinational companies, compared to 40 in the corresponding period last year — a 10 per cent rise.
The chamber also attracted 217 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the first nine months of 2025, up 84 per cent from 118 SMEs in the same period of 2024.
Dubai International Chamber growth
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, said: “We remain focused on attracting high-value foreign investment to Dubai, expanding the opportunities the emirate offers across key sectors, and reinforcing its pivotal role on the global trade and investment map in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).”
He added that the chamber’s network of international offices has become a key platform helping Dubai-based companies expand into overseas markets, while showcasing the emirate’s integrated competitive advantages to global business communities.
During the first nine months of 2025, the International Chamber advanced the objectives of the Dubai Global initiative, which targets the establishment of 50 international representative offices by 2030.
As part of this strategy, the chamber expanded its network with five new offices in:
- Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Cape Town, South Africa
- Bengaluru, India
- Bangkok, Thailand
- Toronto, Canada
These offices strengthen Dubai’s links with key growth markets and support both inward investment and outward expansion for Dubai-based enterprises.
Promoting Dubai as a global business hub
Between January and September 2025, the chamber’s representative offices organised 376 roundtable meetings aimed at promoting the emirate as a leading global business hub, attracting foreign direct investment, and positioning the emirate as a gateway for international expansion.
The chamber’s international network serves as a strategic platform connecting Dubai with business communities worldwide.
It facilitates two-way investment flows, unlocks new trade channels, and helps companies in global markets access Dubai’s opportunities as a launchpad for regional and international growth.
The offices also play a vital role in showcasing Dubai’s competitive advantages, offering on-the-ground market intelligence, and supporting international firms seeking to establish or expand operations in the emirate — reinforcing its status as one of the world’s most dynamic and connected business destinations.
