Get ready to learn, explore, and imagine! Dubai’s favourite characters Modesh and Dana are calling all curious kids and creative minds to join them at Modesh World 2025 for hands-on educational experiences with 24 on-stage workshops, developed in collaboration with various Dubai Government entities. Running daily until 28 August at Dubai World Trade Centre Halls 4–7, Dubai’s favourite family-friendly ‘edutainment’ attraction and one of the region’s largest indoor entertainment destinations welcomes children of all ages to explore big ideas through stories, stage shows, crafts, games, and meet-and-greet sessions. Diverse topics range from fire safety and science fun to cultural understanding and consumer smarts – all included as part of this year’s refreshed unlimited access ticket.

A much-loved feature of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), Modesh World is organised by DXB LIVE, the experiential agency of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), in cooperation with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

The specially curated programme of workshops this year has been designed in partnership with Dubai Ambulance, Community Development Authority, Children’s City, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, Consumer Awareness team at Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU). Guided by expert instructors, these sessions reflect Modesh World’s continued mission to blend creativity, curiosity, and learning.

The workshops are included as part of the refreshed all-access ticket for parents and children this year – giving families the chance to enjoy unlimited entry for the full day as they explore more, play more, and stay longer without paying separately for each experience. For AED 150 per child and AED 25 per adult, families can immerse themselves in a full day of non-stop fun, creativity, and excitement. For every three tickets purchased, families will receive one ticket absolutely free. Esaad and Al Saada cardholders can save more with additional discounts, while people of determination and their guardians and caregivers enjoy free entry.

IMMERSIVE & EDUCATIONAL MOMENTS

The Community Development Authority (CDA) is hosting a special series of inspiring talks and knowledge-sharing sessions with senior citizens daily until 28 August. The Consumer Awareness Team from Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is helping young visitors understand their consumer rights through competitions, video screenings, and interactive games daily until 28 August. Dubai Municipality is hosting educational workshops on food and health safety every Monday (12, 19, and 26 August). Children’s City is hosting interactive science and learning activities from 13 to 20 August. Every Thursday (14, 21, and 28 August), Dubai Civil Defence is introducing kids to best practices on emergency response, fire safety, safe evacuation, and what it takes to become a firefighter, in addition to special meet-and-greets with mascot “Salim” and real Civil Defence officers.

On 17 August, the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding (SMCCU) is hosting a one-day-only storytelling session, cultural trivia game, and photo moments for children aged 5 to 10 years. Dubai Ambulance is teaching children about first aid, how to call for help in emergency situations, and a stage show featuring the much-loved mascot “Suhail” from 19 to 21 August. From 21 to 23 August, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is hosting live stage quizzes, kids’ workshops, and surprise giveaways, in addition to special appearances by DEWA mascots “Noor” and “Hayat”.

These sessions complement Modesh World’s brand-new themed zones, 118 games and attractions, a jam-packed calendar of 316 thrilling live shows, and unlimited all-day ticketed access for families. Open daily from 10am-10pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and 10am-midnight on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays).
