The FBI’s New York office is urging SafeMoon investors who lost money to come forward as part of a federal investigation into one of the DeFi’s most infamous frauds. In May 2025, former SafeMoon CEO Braden John Karony was convicted on charges of conspiracy to commit securities fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.
