Wealthy individuals in the UK have seen their tax burden increase by nearly 40 per cent over the past four years, according to new analysis from investment migration advisory firm Astons. The findings come amid a growing trend of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) exiting the country, spurred by tighter non-domicile tax rules and increasingly unfavourable fiscal policy.
