An Instagram Glitch Is Affecting Some Dubai Users’ Accounts

If your feed’s gone blank, your posts disappeared, or Instagram told you to “create your first post” (even though you’ve been posting since 2012)… you’re not alone.

Feed’s gone missing

Over the past few days (since around October 1–3), Instagram users worldwide, including plenty in Dubai, have been dealing with major glitches. Profiles are showing zero posts with the dreaded “No Posts Yet” message, while the post count still weirdly appears normal. Basically, your photos exist, but Instagram’s pretending they don’t.

Users took it to X

People went straight to X (Twitter) to vent, saying their feeds weren’t refreshing, they couldn’t see their own posts, or they were logged out entirely. Moreover, Downdetector confirmed that reports of Instagram outages spiked globally. But as of now, Meta hasn’t said a word about what’s going on.

Quite surprising this time, @instagram has been taking over 24 hours to fix a bug users across the globe are reporting. Many of us have completely lost access to our accounts. pic.twitter.com/oU5RfqxFGe

Lovin’ Dubai asked…

Lovin Dubai asked users on WhatsApp if they were experiencing the issue — and nearly half said yes. So, if you thought your Wi-Fi was acting up or your phone was cursed… relax. It’s an Instagram issue. Your wifi is totally innocent.
