Saudi Arabia has granted premium residency visas to entrepreneurs as it looks to boost investment and attract business innovators.

Saudi Arabia’s Premium Residency Centre has announced the granting of “Entrepreneur Residency” status to more than 100 entrepreneurs representing over 20 nationalities, during the Biban Forum 2025 organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The move forms part of the centre’s strategy to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global destination for innovators, investors, and entrepreneurs, while supporting the development of Saudi Arabia’s investment and innovation ecosystem in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

Premium Residency in Saudi Arabia

The Entrepreneur Residency is one of the Premium Residency Centre’s flagship programmes.

It is designed for founders of innovative, technology-driven start-ups seeking to establish and scale their ventures within Saudi Arabia.

The initiative aims to stimulate the national economy and create high-quality employment opportunities by attracting high-potential entrepreneurs to the Kingdom.

The centre said that granting Premium Residency to this group of entrepreneurs underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to attracting creative minds from around the world, and to providing a thriving, competitive, and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Comprehensive residency options

The Premium Residency Centre currently offers seven distinct residency products:

  • Special Talent Residency
  • Gifted Residency
  • Investor Residency
  • Entrepreneur Residency
  • Real Estate Owner Residency
  • Limited Duration Residency
  • Unlimited Duration Residency

These categories grant holders a range of benefits, including the right to reside in Saudi Arabia with family members, conduct business, own property, and invite relatives to the Kingdom.

Held under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities”, the Biban Forum 2025 serves as one of the Kingdom’s most important platforms for supporting start-ups and promoting entrepreneurship.

Organised by Monsha’at, the forum brings together business owners, investors, and innovation leaders, fostering knowledge exchange and creating opportunities for business growth both within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
