Saudi Arabia currently has $14.9bn invested in technology and a digital economy projected to reach $76bn by 2030.

The country offers 1,300 megawatts of data-centre capacity and 20 subsea cables linking East and West, infrastructure that underpins its digital transformation and the creation of 300 start-ups nationwide.

Invest Saudi is set to showcase the Kingdom’s growing role as a world-leading destination for technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), e-commerce, and logistics investment at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Invest Saudi

Overseen by the Saudi Investment Promotion Authority (SIPA), Invest Saudi serves as the government’s investment attraction and promotion entity, tasked with communicating and facilitating opportunities for investors across Saudi Arabia.

Described as a global digital gateway, Saudi Arabia is positioning itself as a leading AI and innovation hub, attracting billions in domestic, regional, and international investment.

The drive forms part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 diversification strategy, which aims to foster entrepreneurship, improve ease of doing business, and enhance international connectivity.

Web Summit 2025

Joining the Invest Saudi delegation at Web Summit are several key organisations:

  • Special Integrated Logistics Zone Company (SILZ): Established in 2022, is the award-winning developer and operator of logistics zones in the Kingdom. SILZ covers 3 million square metres of land with 100 per cent foreign ownership, 50-year tax relief, and direct access to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Phase 1 currently records 51 per cent occupancy across the ICT, consumer commerce, and aerospace sectors, with the potential to create 60,000 jobs
  • Quality of Life Program (QoL): One of the Vision 2030 Realisation Programs, will present JOIN, a new strategic initiative designed to connect international audiences with Saudi Arabia’s lifestyle economy, promoting liveability, cultural vibrancy, and innovation across the Kingdom’s cities
  • The National Cybersecurity Authority: Will highlight its Cybersecurity Accelerator Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and innovation within the cybersecurity sector. The programme has empowered more than 45 local, regional, and international start-ups in three years, offering financial backing, mentorship, and strategic support
  • Saudi Arabia launched Premium Residency, often referred to as the Kingdom’s Green Card, in 2019 to attract skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors. The programme grants holders the right to live, work, and invest in the Kingdom, helping advance Saudi Arabia’s goal of becoming a global hub for talent and innovation.
