
Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has showcased Dubai’s position as a leading global startup ecosystem during a special session at Expand North Star 2025.
Saeed AlGergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, presented a compelling overview of Dubai’s competitive advantages. He highlighted how the emirate’s unique combination of safety, economic stability, and global connectivity, together with an investment-friendly legislative environment, creates the ideal launchpad for the world’s most ambitious startups. AlGergawi emphasised that these pillars are fundamental to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to generate an average of AED 100 billion annually for the economy through digital transformation projects.
