Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially announced the renaming of GGICO Metro Station to Al Garhoud Metro Station, effective from April 14, 2024. The station, located on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro, serves a vital transport link within the city’s rapidly evolving infrastructure.

The update was shared via RTA’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, accompanied by a metro map highlighting the station’s new identity.

This renaming follows a recent trend in Dubai’s metro network—last month, Al Khail Metro Station was renamed to Al Fardan Exchange under a naming rights agreement. These changes reflect the city’s continued alignment of public transit with prominent local landmarks and commercial partners.

Stay tuned for more updates on infrastructure developments and city-wide initiatives across Dubai.
