Expo City Dubai Authority has signed a partnership with Emirates NBD to strengthen banking services for its growing business community, improving operational efficiency and supporting companies at every stage of their development.
The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Najeeb Al Ali, Executive Director of Expo City Dubai Authority, and Hamad Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD.
The agreement represents a major step toward advancing Expo City Dubai’s vision of becoming a globally competitive, innovation-led business hub.
As part of the collaboration, Emirates NBD will offer tailored financial solutions designed to help Expo City Dubai’s licence holders launch, scale, and expand their operations both locally and internationally. The bank’s services will be integrated within a digital framework to streamline account setup and improve the overall ease of doing business for companies based in the city.
Expo City Dubai is also working with multiple financial institutions to simplify the banking process for its clients and ensure their needs are comprehensively met.
The initiative reflects Expo City Dubai’s role as a key pillar of Dubai’s long-term economic diversification strategy. Positioned as the legacy city of Expo 2020 Dubai, the destination is designed to foster innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across sectors.
It forms part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to position the city among the world’s top global business hubs.
