Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail inaugurated the exhibition, welcoming developers, investors and experts from around the world.

He highlighted a fundamental shift in the role of both Saudi and international real estate developers.
According to the minister, the Kingdom’s five major cities will require more than 1.5m housing units by 2030, including 731,000 in Riyadh alone, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as the region’s largest urban development market.
The minister said real estate agreements exceeding SR161.2bn ($43bn) will be signed during the first two days of Cityscape Global 2025, reflecting strong investor confidence and the vitality of the Saudi real estate market.
Organisers expect additional deals throughout the exhibition as demand continues to rise.
Al-Hogail emphasised the rapid digital transformation of the sector, noting that real estate in the Kingdom has become fully digital, adopting PropTech solutions, artificial intelligence, modern construction methods and augmented reality to enhance planning and project management.
Tokenised real estate in Saudi Arabia
In a major milestone, he announced the completion of the Kingdom’s first tokenisation of a real estate title deed, alongside the launch of global standards for tokenising real estate properties.
This move positions Saudi Arabia among the first countries to build digital real estate infrastructure directly linked to official records.
Al-Hogail concluded that Cityscape Global reflects the Kingdom’s ambition to build smart cities and advance a global real estate economy rooted in innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
He said the exhibition serves as a national platform bringing together stakeholders to explore opportunities shaping the sector’s future.
